Bishop Olivier Celebrates Mass and Visits the Chamkar Teang Catholic Community

TAKEO, November 16: Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler paid a visit and celebrated the Holy Mass at the Chamkar Teang Catholic Community, with the participation of Christians from all parishes within the entire Takeo Pastoral Center.
During his homily, the Bishop urged all Christians to focus on cultivating a life of hope and enduring with perseverance. He emphasized the following message:
“Our lives always encounter problems and difficulties, but we have faith in the resurrected Jesus who remains with us. It is this faith that enables us to overcome all those difficulties… God loves us, and He will never abandon us.”

The Traeng Trayeng Parish solemnly inaugurated a new activity building under the presidency of Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler, Apostolic Vicar of Phnom Penh, accompanied by Bishop Pierre Suon Hangly, Coadjutor Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Phnom Penh, together with numerous priests. The ceremony was held on December 13 in Traeng Trayeng Commune, Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province, to support and enhance the pastoral mission and activities of Saint Martin Church of this parish.

In the context of the conflict between Cambodia and Thailand, Bishop Olivier urged the faithful to pray and to continue works of charity. He said,
